A creative frame-by-frame animation telling about the endless evolution of primitive man.
CARWIK - ORIGIN

This is my creative project in collaboration with my musician friend Carwik, who writes dub-step music. The idea to tell a story about primitive man belongs to him. I developed it and turned it into a short story that has no end. The animation will loop in an endless loop throughout the entire musical composition.
The main character is a Neanderthal who turns into a Boss. During the development of the character, we were looking for interesting and expressive proportions. We wanted to make him look like DreamWorks characters.
At the first stage, we experimented with the style until we came to a more realistic background that contrasts well with the cartoon characters.
It would take too long to draw backgrounds manually, so we created 3d scenes based on 2d sketches and set the camera the necessary path. Almost all the backgrounds in the project will be animated in this way.
At the moment, an animatic, a steel shot, a line of characters and some backgrounds are ready. Right now we are working on creating a color script.
